The company seeks to consistently uphold human rights, both with respect to its own employees as well as those of its contractors and suppliers, whether foreign or domestic.
As such the company has developed an ethical sourcing policy which addresses issues of labour rights, combating corruption, and maintaining decent and safe working environments.
This ethical sourcing policy incorporates various conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and principles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
APD Promotions has prescribed to a set of requirements that its suppliers are expected to comply with, in order to:
- Enhance and ensuring the working conditions of employees throughout its supply chain, and ;
- Nurture the strong image of the APD Promotions brand by ensuring that the right thing is always done.
All service providers and suppliers are expected to comply with all the requirements set forth in this policy. Service providers and suppliers who demonstrate an ability to adhere to these directions are considered to be preferred partner for APD Promotions.
This policy only prescribes minimum requirements. The service providers and suppliers of APD Promotions are encouraged to exceed minimal compliance with these requirements.
APD Promotions ethical sourcing policy covers safe and healthy workplace, employee rights, sustainable procurement, management of environmental impacts and antibribery.
